I researched
the link between two different bands CD cover and poster, I found out that
continuity between colour schemes and fonts was used so that the consumer can
relate the poster to the album cover and vice versa. I am planning to have a
clear link between my DIGIPAK and poster to make my product seem more
realistic. Both albums and adverts feature the band members on the front cover,
both adverts also have the release date printed clearly on them as well as
where the album is available, I am planning to reflect those convention on my
DIGIPAK and poster.

Samples of
the inlay of a My Chemical Romance live album. The inlay featured images of the
band in several different styles. Some images were in the style of magazine
images and some were in a much more amateur style. My DIGIPAK will feature both
amateur live concert images as well as a photo-shoot I am planning to carry out with the lead singer.
